Hire Period

The standard hire period is 7 days. If your skip is full prior to pick up date, please call or email to arrange an early collection if possible.

If you require an extension, you must notify us at least 1 business day before the scheduled collection. An extended hire fee (daily or weekly) will incur ($30 per day or weekly $250).

Your bin will be collected on your scheduled date or within the following two working days.

Price

All prices include delivery and removal of skip bins. The price of the skip bin includes GST.

Once order is confirmed, the price of the goods and services stated cannot be amended unless agreed in writing to that variation.

Delivery Times and Payment

Although SKIP BIN PERTH WA SERVICES will attempt to deliver a skip bin within the timeframe requested by the customer, there are no guarantees for exact times. If you require a skip for early morning use, it is best to book delivery for the day prior.

We can offer a maximum of 1 hour notice prior to delivery on request. If you are paying Cash on Delivery, please ensure money is ready for the driver as the skip bin will not be delivered unless paid in advance.

Bin Placement & Access

• Site must be cleared for pick up and drop off bins, if not then trip fee for truck $100 will apply, driver is not responsible to clear the site;
• Skip bin face must remain in the same direction as was placed during drop off and must not be moved;
• SKIP BIN PERTH WA SERVICES is not liable for property damage caused by skip placement as per customer instructions;
• A minimum 2m height and width clearance is required from trees, buildings and fences for safe delivery and collection;
• Fully loaded trucks can damage concrete kerbs etc. We advise using timber planks under skips to minimise damage (not supplied);
• CAUTION: The bin's ramp and doors are heavy. For your safety, at least two people should be present to open them.
• Skip bin cannot be placed on roads or footpaths or obstruct traffic visibility;
• Skip bin may scratch, mark or stain driveways;
• If truck is bogged at any site, it’s customers responsibility to pay for tow truck cost.

Loading Requirements

• Do not overload skip bin. Waste must not fill above rim;
• Skip bin ramp must be closed properly by customer before collection.
• Overfilled skip bin will not be collected. A trip fee of truck $100 will apply;
• Black lines within the bins designate the maximum load limit for sand, bricks, and concrete. Failure to adhere to these limits will result in penalties, including a futile trip fee of $100. Service will be suspended, and the bin will not be removed, until the customer adjusts the load to the compliance level within the allotted timeframe.

Overloading of Skip Bin

To ensure safe loading and transport of the skip bin, the client is to ensure that the contents inside the bin do not exceed the top rim of the skip bin. This will prevent materials falling off the truck when it is in transit.

Maximum carrying weight

Note: If maximum carrying weight capacity is exceeded as mentioned above then a trip fee of truck $100 will apply and bin will not be collected until weight limit is corrected by customer.

Normal Waste Types

• Wood, cardboard, plastic, furniture, white goods, metals, domestic items, green waste.
• Builders waste, bricks, concrete, metals, soil, sand, tiles, rocks, plaster, pavers, dirt, limestone, etc.

Items Prohibited

• Batteries;
• Liquid & Food Waste;
• Asbestos (not accepted at all);
• Chemicals, Oils or Paints;
• Mattresses;
• Electronic Items;

Note: If prohibited items are not declared and found in bins $2000 fines applies to customers.

Extra Charges

These charges will also apply if items are undeclared but found in skip bins:

• Mattresses: $80 each;
• Tyre: $60;
• Re-Load Fee: $250 (Charged by tip site if unaccepted items are found in skip bin).

Burning Items in Skip Bin

Under no circumstances are items in the skip bin to be incinerated. Any damage caused by fire will be passed on to the client.

Payment

Payment is to be made prior to delivery of the skip bin. Additional costs may be incurred if prohibited items are placed in the skip bin.

Order Cancellation and Variation

The client will be entitled to cancel or vary an order if SKIP BIN PERTH WA SERVICES receives notice of cancellation or variation no later than two working days prior to the delivery date. In the event an order is cancelled by SKIP BIN PERTH WA SERVICES the client will receive a full refund for the cancelled order.

Limitation of Liability

The liability of SKIP BIN PERTH SERVICES for any claim, damages, loss or expense related to the supply of services is limited to the cost paid by you for those services except where statute expressly requires otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKIP BIN PERTH WA SERVICES will not be liable in any event whether in tort (including negligence), contract or otherwise for any loss of profits or any consequential, indirect or special damage, loss or injury of any kid suffered by you or any other person.

Risk

Customer will be liable to SKIP BIN PERTH SERVICES for any damage to skip bins which occurs while in your possession, subject to fair wear and tear.
